Is the Scantronic 9600 still available
This is a question we get asked a lot as they were installed in their masses in the late 80's early 90's.
A great simple panel that everyone loved with full text keypad and eight zones.
The 9600 superseded the old 9800 with LED keypad, and was followed by the 816 then the 9750 and now the 9651.
So in answer to the earlier question, no the 9600 is no longer available. You could keep an eye on e-bay as they do still come up second hand, mainly sold by alarm engineers who have just up graded a system.
The best bet is the Scantronic 9651, it is smaller and the remote keypad is a lot more compact and can be viewed here scantronic 9651. All of your existing PIR's and detection equipment will wire directly into this unit.
